Kyle & Wendy Faegre were facing worries about potential and existing health issues. As they were hitting milestone birthdays, they realized they wanted to make some lifestyle changes and improve their health & fitness.

Kyle: My name is Kyle Faegre; I’m living in Plano, Texas. I was actually born and raised in Dallas and I’ve been here all my life, with my lovely wife Wendy here. We have two sons—one is in college and one is in high school.
Wendy: I recently turned 50, which is what started my interest in the fitness program.
Kyle: I didn’t like the fact that my gut was bigger. I didn’t like that. I didn’t like the fact that my pants sizes were bigger. I didn’t like that, so you feel a little bit down.
Wendy: It used to be easy for me to just drop that winter weight, but it became much harder to do that over the past few years, so that was my big motivator. I’m like, “I am not going up another size.”
The other thing I’d say for Kyle too is he was on cholesterol medicine and then I started worrying about diabetes for him and I’m like, “Okay, I’m signing you up too for this program.” Just from a health perspective—we both needed to lose the weight and improve our health.
Kyle: For me, I started out around 250. My goal was to lose 30 or 40 pounds and then get 10 or 15 pounds of muscle back. I’m right there. I got right where I wanted to be, probably around 217 now. The amount of muscle has greatly changed from what it was before.
Wendy: I lost a total of 15 pounds of fat, which was very exciting, and then just the toning has made such a huge difference. I went from a size 6 down to more like a 0. My clothes all fit differently and I really feel much better about the way that I look.
The plan is very personalized and our trainer is a great motivator too, and that really helps us. We’re working out hard, but we have fun while we’re doing it.
Kyle: I’d recommend New Wave, and I’ve recommended it to some of my friends simply because I’ve seen the results. I’ve seen what having a trainer come to your house with a plan [can do]—it’s teaching you and it’s pushing you.
I’ve seen what it can do. I’m living proof that it can make a difference, and it’s stuff I know I wouldn’t have done on my own.
2018 UPDATE: Recently, Kyle and Wendy both went through our Lab-Based Nutrition program. They are still looking and feeling great!
