Simple Tips for In-Home Training in Dallas

If you have decided to get involved with in-home training in Dallas, your first question is likely to be “what kind of equipment do I need?” The truth is that you can put together a decent workout without having to buy so much as a single weight.

Here are a few basic exercises you can do to help lose weight and tone up without even having to step outside:

Sit-ups – Good for toning your abs and keeping the heart pumping as part of a wider routine. Simply lie on your back, with your knees bent, your feet flat to the floor and finger tips to your temples. Then raise your head towards your legs. See how many you can do in two minutes.

Push-ups – Get yourself in a plank position with your hands firmly on the ground directly beneath your shoulders and with your toes supporting your legs. Your spine should be straight from neck to pelvis. Then simply lower yourself to the ground by bending your arms and lift yourself back up again. This will strengthen your arms and core. Again, see how many you can get done in two minutes.

Burpees – Start in a standing position, squat down with your hands on the ground, kick your feet back while supporting your body with your hands, bring your feet back up to a squat and then jump as high as you can before repeating the process. This should provide you with two minutes of intense cardio.

These three exercises are a great starting place. Aim to do six reps of each, giving you a 30-minute routine. If you have weights, you can use them to add resistance when doing the sit-ups. However, you should only use unfamiliar gym equipment under the supervision of a personal trainer.
