What Can You Do in 4 Minutes?

What can you do in 4 minutes?
Take a shower.
Run a mile.
Listen to Madonna’s song.
Get your Starbucks.
Every 4 minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukemia.

Cancer doesn’t care about who you are.
You might be a spouse, a parent, supporting a family—cancer doesn’t care.
Cancer did not care about our friend Delon Greene.
Husband, father, son, brother, uncle…
Delon was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia in 2009.

Consider him lucky…
Because his sister Joquel was a match to be Delon’s marrow donor.
And today, Delon is in remission, cancer-free.
But 70% of patients are not able to find a matching donor in their family.

What can you do in 4 minutes?
Take a shower.
Run a mile.
Listen to Madonna’s song.
Get your Starbucks.
Save someone’s life.

Cancer does not care…but people do.

Delon Greene was a Graduate Assistant Football Coach at the University of North Texas during the time when Hut Allred was a football player at UNT, so they became friends. When Delon reached out to Hut asking for his help to spread the message about Be The Match and the National Marrow Donor Registry, Hut was honored to be a part of it! Hut is reaching out to friends of New Wave Fitness for their support as well.
