Well, fitness entrepreneur Hut Allred has done just that at New Wave Fitness. Here\u2019s a look.<\/p>\n<p>Wouldn\u2019t it be great if a fit and healthy body came in a box? It may never be quite that simple, but New Wave Fitness helps their clients find straightforward solutions for the most common fitness challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The big obstacle that all of our clients have today is time. It takes time to do the things you need to do to be successful with your fitness. So we provide solutions by coming to their home, training them in their home with minimal equipment or more equipment\u2014it depends on the individual\u2014and then we make sure they have the right meal plan. We prepare those meals, provide the supplementation, teach them and educate them how to use it at the right time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Finding the right time is a personal decision. Sherry Stephenson says a family vacation was her motivation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sherry Stephenson:<br \/>\n<\/strong>One summer, we were about to head to the beach and it was just a little more than I could take thinking about a bathing suit, so I told Rick I was either going to go get lipo or call Hut!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Hut said she made the right call, because fitness has been his lifelong passion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Fitness has always been a part of my life. I got an athletic scholarship to the University of North Texas, where I had a really successful career, and that led me to be really interesting in learning more about the body and fitness. So I majored in kinesiology and graduated from the University of North Texas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Shortly after that, he started New Wave Fitness. The company philosophy is also straightforward: Set specific goals; have an action plan; and build in accountability. But the most important ingredient in the formula is education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>When I started my company, I wanted to be a resource, and I want to build lifetime relationships with all of our clients. We\u2019ve got to continue educating them because there is a lot of misinformation out in the market. We have a monthly newsletter that we\u2019re always producing and sending out. We always tell our clients, \u201cIf you have questions, contact us and we\u2019ll tell you if it\u2019s nonsense or not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Rick Stephenson says that it was the education that got him hooked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rick Stephenson:<br \/>\n<\/strong>With New Wave, the analogy that I use is, they\u2019re going to teach you to fish. They\u2019re not just going to give you the fish, but they teach you everything you need to know, so that knowledge is the power behind it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>We\u2019ve got to educate them on all of the components that are required for them to be successful, and how those components work together. Most people fail from the beginning because their program is incomplete. There\u2019s not one thing that\u2019s going to get you in shape; there are multiple things, and you need to be educated on them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Working the New Wave plan calls for exercise&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Strength-training exercises with fitness balls, some dumbbells, maybe some stability bands, a lot of stretching.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;And following a meal plan that doesn\u2019t sabotage fitness goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>We make sure they have the right nutrition plan that\u2019s in line with their caloric needs, that is going to keep their blood sugar stable, keep their energy high, and keep them recovering from their exercise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>With today\u2019s fast-paced lifestyles, it\u2019s getting the meal plan right that can be the biggest challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>When I started my company ten years ago, a big component of it was nutrition. We would develop these beautiful nutrition plans. We would have grocery lists, and we would have all of that laid out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>But Hut discovered that clients just didn\u2019t have the time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>That\u2019s why we started getting into preparing the meals for them and making it easy, because that\u2019s one of the most challenging things\u2014planning and preparing and grocery shopping. It takes time to do that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>There are supplements, shakes, and pre-cooked meals to make mealtime all about convenience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>We use supplements to fill in gaps in their nutrition program because we can\u2019t get all the nutrients from food alone; that\u2019s why we need a vitamin. We need a meal replacement because most of us are driving all day long, and you\u2019re not going to pull out a complete meal in between meals. Then we need to address post-workout nutrition. So that comes directly to our client, they can make it in less than two minutes, have it completed so it\u2019s easy and convenient. For the meals, everything is precooked and we ship it to our client in dry ice so it\u2019s frozen when they get it. They put it in their freezer and they\u2019re able to pull it out, stick it in the microwave for three minutes and have a delicious meal that they can do for lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Sherry and Rick Stephenson are very happy with the results they\u2019ve seen from working the New Wave Fitness plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sherry Stephenson:<br \/>\n<\/strong>My percentage of fat kept going down and I was having to notch my belt more and more, and that was a nice feeling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Whiteman:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Hut Allred\u2019s satisfaction comes from knowing he\u2019s helping clients reach their goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut Allred:<br \/>\n<\/strong>I\u2019m fortunate enough to be in a business that allows me to help other folks be successful with their health and fitness, because if we fix the health-and-fitness problem, we fix a lot of other problems, so that\u2019s why I do what I do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>See how Hut Allred\u00a0is helping people change their lives with a positive attitude and a meal program that makes is easy to manage calories.
