This is the T2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong>&nbsp;Yes, so you\u2019ve got what\u2019s called an FT1, right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:&nbsp;<\/strong>Yes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:&nbsp;<\/strong>It\u2019s a Functional Trainer 1. This is a Functional Trainer 2. The biggest difference, you still have the functional training aspect of it with these pulleys that are on the front, okay? So you\u2019ve got pulleys here, you\u2019ve have pulleys at the top to do a pulldown. You also have pulleys at the bottom to do either bicep curls, rows or even a leg extension off the front \u2018cause all that can hook up with a cable machine, or a cable attachment, right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong>&nbsp;Yes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:&nbsp;<\/strong>What\u2019s cool though about this particular product more than anything is this red bar that\u2019s right in front of you. And the reason it\u2019s red is so you don\u2019t hit your head on it, okay?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong>&nbsp;Sure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:&nbsp;<\/strong>That\u2019s why they made it red&#8230;but this is incredible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut: <\/strong>If that was black\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Yeah, it could you hurt you, right? I asked Inspire, I said, \u201cWhy\u2019d you make it red,\u201d and Fred from Inspire said, \u201cWell, we just made it red \u2018cause everyone hits their head on it,\u201d so now they don\u2019t have to worry about it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:&nbsp;<\/strong>There you go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong>&nbsp;So that\u2019s great but here\u2019s what I want to show you guys real quick. This is what\u2019s cool about this machine. I actually have a Smith bar built into this machine. Right here, bring it down, set my safeties and now I can do a full-on bench press with this bar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut: <\/strong>And you\u2019re not having to add plates or weights. It\u2019s all through the cable system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong>&nbsp;No, that\u2019s what\u2019s amazing is this machine has no weight plates that you put on the side so there\u2019s no injuries with the kids, no injuries with yourself, you\u2019re not having to buy extra pieces. I just go like this\u2014take the pin out on each side, change the weight and there it is. And if I get in a bind, watch this!&nbsp;I\u2019ve got safeties built in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> So if you have a young teenager that\u2019s wanting to train and doesn\u2019t have spotter&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Which is a lot of the kids that are (indiscernible) and getting into football and that sort of thing, high school, and they don\u2019t have a spotter, they come home. Because at the school they\u2019re using a (indiscernible) bar (indiscernible) plates and that\u2019s\u2026 that\u2019s what they want. They need this. This is very, very safe. It feels incredible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Yeah, so smooth. So what makes this so cool is that you have that Smith machine option where you can do all your movements\u2026but you also have the functional trainer option, which allows you to do all those combo movements, really, you know, athletic movements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Absolutely. &#8216;Cause we can take this and bring it to the top and get it out of the way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Show \u2018em how to do it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> And now you still have a full-on functional trainer, right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Yup. Let\u2019s do it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> So it\u2019s really, really simple with this. Let me just show you guys how this works and how we get it out of the way. This bar right here goes up, just like that, walks out. Now that\u2019s out of the way completely and now I have a full-on functional trainer right here. So now we can\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> We can look at each other and workout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Yeah, it\u2019s amazing. So it\u2019s really, really cool and, obviously, you guys know from our FT1 video but, you know, this is adjustable up and down.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> All the way down?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Yeah, and we can put it wherever we want, which is really cool, and then you\u2019ve got all the other pulleys in it. But (indiscernible) amazing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> And which\u2026 and which what I really like, we can attach this assisted body weight, assisted exercises.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> That\u2019s probably one of the coolest things is you can actually do a bodyweight assisted pull-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Push-ups, pull-ups and even athletic movements. A lot of people don\u2019t understand&#8230;Let\u2019s just show them.&nbsp;I\u2019m going to do probably one of the most functional movements that you can do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> This guy\u2019s good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> I do my best. And, uh, so let\u2019s say you want to do a pushup and you\u2019re not real strong\u2026or it\u2019s been a long time and your shoulders and your neck tend to hurt\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Yup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> You can use your full body weight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Well, show us, Hut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> All we do is we (laughs) we add weight so that it\u2019s easier and then when you lay down\u2014you probably won\u2019t see me\u2014but you can do an assisted pushup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> This is how Hut has to do his push-ups. Watch, I\u2019m going to bring this down.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> There you go, just like that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> There he is.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> So I can do my one-arms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Man, Hut, you\u2019re strong.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:&nbsp;<\/strong>So you can do that. Also, little athletes could do some movements where you\u2026 set a\u2014set a ball out there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:&nbsp;<\/strong>Okay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:&nbsp;<\/strong>Set a ball out there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:&nbsp;<\/strong>Here, how \u2018bout this?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut: <\/strong>There you go, a sandbag. So we can come out here, grab that sandbag, come back, put it back down here, come back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> That\u2019s pretty amazing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> So we can really get in and do some athletic movements with this machine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Pretty awesome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Plus your pull-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Pretty awesome, yeah.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> So a lot of fun stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Pull-ups are easy. The pull-ups (indiscernible) bring up here, we use this right here just to get on, just like that, and then you have an assisted pull-up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Awesome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> So pretty cool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Yup. Point out again the cable systems back in here. There\u2019s a lot of different places you can do stuff. So really this machine, I feel like this machine is for, not only folks that are over the age of 40 that just want to get fit, but it\u2019s also for their kids and young athletes that want to utilize a machine at home without&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> That\u2019s safe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> That\u2019s safe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> And that you can do a lot of exercises and functional training in general will tend to put a lot less pressure on the joints. You don\u2019t need a lot of weight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong>&nbsp;Yup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> Just getting the motion down nice and smooth and, uh, man, I got to tell you, nobody makes smoother cabling mechanism than Inspire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Yeah, it\u2019s solid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig:<\/strong> These guys do a really good job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hut:<\/strong> Top of the line. And that\u2019s what you get at these stores. Well, I hope you guys found this valuable.
